Do-It-Yourself Analytics Report Analyzer is an end-user analysis tool that empowers business users to view, modify, extend or analyze their report data "on-demand" and without adding any IT overhead. It is an easy-to-use, GUI-driven analysis tool that delivers self-service analysis capabilities.

Do-It-Yourself Analytics Report Analyzer's user-friendly drag-and-drop functionality enables business users to modify data visualization in real-time reports. This analysis tool gives users the flexibility to view information easily in a variety of graphical and tabular formats. Nexstep Report Analyzer enables users to analyze any report element, including Pivot Tables & Charts, and also export reports to a variety of formats, including HTML, XML, Excel, RTF, Ms Word, Text, PDF, etc.

Do-It-Yourself Analytics Report Analyzer also has a spreadsheet-like interface that allows users to perform basic and advanced analysis on the fly. Complete with powerful grouping, charting and ad hoc analysis capabilities, Nexstep Report Analyzer empowers business users with real-time operational business analysis. Nexstep Report Analyzer is available as a thick-client solution for desktops and as a web-based solution that provides all the interactivity and advanced data analysis capabilities of the client over the browser.

  • Drag-and-drop Grouping: Transform long grid reports into quick summaries.

  • Date Grouping: Group report data by Year, Quarter, Month or Week using a date field
    (For e.g. you can compare sales figures by Quarter using the Order Date column)

  • Range Grouping: Group report data by any pre-defined data range. (For e.g. you can identify and group high value customers by specifying revenue ranges)

2. Powerful Charting Options

  • Visually represent report data using a variety of charts like Pie, Bar, Line, Radar, etc. Creating a drill down chart is as simple as dragging multiple fields into the X-Axis!

3. Conditional Formatting

  • Get a snapshot view of exception areas for users every time they open the report. Reports can be custom formatted at Row-level and Cell-level based on a set of preset conditions.

4. Offline Analysis

  • Perform full-fledged analysis on the reports even when they are not connected as Nexstep reports (.ivwr) store the report layout and its data.
